This expansion adds one new adventure for Solomon Kane, touching on dark alchemy in old Germany.
In another Black Forest adventure, Kane comes across a boy struggling at the end of a rope, or a roadside gibbet. He frees the lad, then waits to see who comes by, hoping to perhaps run into the ones responsible. Instead, he meets John Silent, a mercenary, who tells him the gibbet belongs to Baron Von Staler, and woe to any man who robs him of his sport.
An unfair murder has stopped thanks to Solomon… but now justice must be granted! Can Solomon deliver justice to the evil aristocrat and his foul creation? Not without you…

- 4 double-sided Tiles
- 3 Fight cards
- 5 Fight Effect cards
- 75 Discovery cards
- 1 Storybook (2 Acts – 20 Chapters)
This adventure is based on a fragment from Robert E. Howard which sets up the situation, but not much more than that. The story is left hanging, but a new companion is introduced, as well as a dastardly foe to face. Classic Solomon Kane territory..
After performing an act of kindness, Solomon Kane encounters a Silent stranger who informs him that this kindness will not go unpunished by the local Baron. Your choices and actions will drive the story forward into uncharted territory and define the outcome. How will you enter the castle? Will you have your new companion by your side? And will you deliver justice?
Delve into this mysterious castle, from its deepst dungeons to its highest levels, and discover its hidden secrets. Who is the eponynmous Devil? What has he done? What will YOU do?
This is an expansion, and cannot be played without the base game.
